The case is genearated with extra settings:

continued from group convection_boxStRfCs and convection_boxRF9.000e-01testCRC1

In this model, I try to change to 'additional_refinement_time' instead of using the 'refinement between steps', in order to address the 'mesh not stable issue'.

I set addtional refinement times at 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4.

fine refinement but no coarsening issue at 0.2 and 0.3

the refinement works fine at 0.2 and 0.3, but there is no coarsening going on.

Coarsening happens in region I don't intend to at 0.4

Coarsening happens in the boundary region where a finer grid is needed.
